Ciyun Temple is located beside Provincial Highway 397 in Jiaozhou City, Qingdao. It was in the ancient Banqiao Town, which was the only open coastal port in the north during the Song Dynasty. It was built in the first year of Tianshun in the late Tang Dynasty. It is a famous ancient temple in Jiaozhou and one of the most magnificent and solemn Buddhist temples in ancient Jiaozhou.
