The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge is an extra-large cross-sea bridge designed, constructed and built by China on its own.
The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge starts from the Licun River Interchange in the east, spans across the Jiaozhou Bay, connects with the Hongdao Interchange in the middle, and ends at the Huangdao East Hub Interchange in the west. The total length of the line is approximately 42.23 kilometers, and the total length of the bridge is about 31.630 kilometers.
It is the "one bridge" among the "one road, one bridge and one tunnel" which are the cross-sea passages planned by Qingdao City for the east and west banks of the Jiaozhou Bay.
