The Qingdao Botanical Garden is located at the southern foot of Taiping Mountain in the urban area of Qingdao. It is adjacent to Zhongshan Park and the Zoo in the west, connected to Juzhu Forest Park in the north, bordered by the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall and Zhanshan Temple in the east, and overlooks the Badaguan Scenic Area in the south.

The vegetation in the garden is rich and lush. Every May, roses of various colors are in full bloom. There are large areas of lawns where people can have picnics.
