Qingdao Folk Custom Museum

The Qingdao Folk Custom Museum is the oldest existing architectural complex with brick-wood structures from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the urban area of Qingdao. As the saying goes, "There was Tianhou Palace before there was Qingdao City."

Except that the opera stage is covered with glazed tiles on its roof, other buildings all have plain walls and small gray tiles. They are also decorated with Suzhou-style paintings, with carved beams and painted rafters, looking splendid and magnificent. Among all the ancient architectures in the entire Qingdao area, the architectural art and painting art of Qingdao Tianhou Palace are second to none. The main scenic spots include: the mountain gate, the Fuding (auspicious cauldron), the Hall of the Holy Mother, the Hall of the God of Wealth, the Hall of the Dragon King, the Hall of the Sixty Jiazi Constellation Gods, the Folk Custom Museum, the Bell Tower, and the Drum Tower.
