Located on the shore of the Yellow Sea, it is golden in color, thus named "Golden Beach". It is one of the beaches in China with the finest sand, the largest area and the most beautiful scenery, and is reputed as "the First Beach in Asia".
The east side of Golden Beach is in the shape of a flared horn open to the mountains. The strong sea breeze blowing from the Yellow Sea whips up waves, which rush onto the beach in groups of three or five, making the long and narrow beach look especially spectacular.
When you are on Golden Beach, you must taste the seafood. The seafood here is big, plump and highly nutritious. It is said that eating it can strengthen the body and improve health.
