Qingdao Post and Telecommunication Museum

It is a European-style building with a red exterior wall. It is the former site of the German Empire Post Office in Jiaozhou Bay. It is the earliest existing postal and telecommunications business building in Qingdao.

The museum covers an area of about 2,500 square meters. Currently, three floors are open to the public: the first floor is the reception hall, the antique telephone wall, and the souvenir shop; the second floor is the main exhibition hall.

The fourth floor is the Tower 1901 Hall. It is the only century-old wooden tower currently open in Qingdao. The Tower 1901 Hall showcases the building techniques from 120 years ago.

Visitors can view various types of telephones in the museum. They can learn about the development journey of Qingdao's postal and telecommunications over the past century through picture materials and actual objects.
