It was the venue for the sailing competitions of the 29th Beijing Olympic Games and the 13th Paralympic Games in 2008. There are two major buildings in the scenic area. One is the Olympic Flame Sculpture of Auspicious Clouds, and the other is the sailboat - shaped sculpture building. They are magnificent and imposing. Nowadays, the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center has become a new landmark of Qingdao, embodying the vitality of this city.
