Xuejia Island is located within the Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone. The planned area of the resort is 9.8 square kilometers. It is a long and narrow peninsula stretching from the northeast to the southwest, with a coastline of 54 kilometers. The northeastern part is mountainous, the central part is a plain, and the southwestern part is hilly.

It resembles a phoenix spreading its wings and ready to fly, lying across the shore of the Yellow Sea. It is one of the twelve provincial-level tourist resorts in Shandong Province. Eight major landscapes, such as "Sunrise at Huang'an", "Ancient Temple Facing the Sea", "Morning Bell at Shangquan", "Snowy Waves at Yuzui", "Sea Calls of Stone Sparrows", "Phoenix Playing with Pearls", "Evening Glow at Zhimen" and "Phoenix Mountain Scenery", add an alluring charm to Xuejia Island.
