Badaguan

The Badaguan Scenic Area was originally a famous military sanatorium due to its large scale and distinctive architecture. Nowadays, it is a favorite among both Qingdao locals and tourists visiting Qingdao. Badaguan can be enjoyed throughout the year, with spring and autumn being the most beautiful seasons.

Badaguan has eight roads named after the eight major passes in China, namely Wusheng Pass Road, Jiayuguan Road, Hanguguan Road, Zhengyang Pass Road, Linhuaiguan Road, Juyongguan Road and Shanhaiguan Road. Here, the urban characteristics of Qingdao, namely "red-tiled roofs, green trees, blue sea and clear sky", are best embodied.

With mountains at its back and the sea in front, and thickly wooded, it has the Second and Third Seaside Bathing Beaches and is also a great place for many newlyweds to take their wedding photos. Sitting in a seaside coffee shop, having a cup of coffee and listening to the sea breeze is the best way to kill time.
