Mount Laoshan is the main mountain range on the Shandong Peninsula and a must-visit place for every tourist coming to Qingdao. There are seven tourist areas in Laoshan, each with its own distinct features. The southern tourist route includes Liuqing River and Yakou; the eastern route is Yangkou; and the central route is Beijiushui.

Due to the different geographical locations of the scenic spots, each scenic area is approximately 20 to 40 kilometers away from the urban area. Generally speaking, a whole day should be arranged for visiting Laoshan. It is recommended to go to Jufeng first.

Jufeng is the highest peak of Laoshan, also known as Laoding, and is known as the "Number One Mountain on the Sea". There is an old saying: "Though Mount Tai is high, it is not as good as Laoshan in the East China Sea."

Transportation

Take Bus No. 104, 113, or 304 and get off at "Dahedong", or take Bus No. 630 and get off at "Dahedong Parking Lot". The ticket office of Jufeng Scenic Area is 150 meters east of the road.
