Geographical Location
Qingdao is located at the southern tip of the Shandong Peninsula, along the coast of the Yellow Sea. It is situated in the southeastern part of the Shandong Peninsula. To the east and south, it borders the Yellow Sea. To the northeast, it adjoins Yantai City. To the west, it is connected to Weifang City, and to the southwest, it shares a border with Rizhao City.
Climate Conditions
Qingdao has a temperate monsoon climate with distinct marine characteristics. The four seasons are well-defined. In spring, the temperature rises slowly. Summer is hot, humid, and rainy, but there is no long period of extreme heat. The average temperature in July and August is about 25.4℃. Autumn is sunny and pleasant. Winter is windy with relatively low temperatures, but it is not overly cold. The average temperature in January is -0.1℃, with the lowest temperature reaching -10.2℃. The hottest month is August, with an average temperature of 25.7℃ and a maximum temperature of 37.4℃.
